The City Hall playground equipment was dedicated to the community on June 15th. The new playground equipment features a full range of climbers, two slides, ladders and play activities, monkey bars, a track (zip) line and balance beam. It has an expected lifespan of 15-20 years.The playground project is a collaborative effort by Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground President and Minnetonka Beach resident Harlan Lehman, the Park Commission, City Hall staff, Public Works Superintendent Jason Hilgers, a resident task force, and input from adjoining and nearby property owners. Installation is expected to be completed by June 1.
